LINK LAUNCH

Privacy Policy

Middle-click and drag navigation for Chrome, designed to work locally without tracking.

The short version

Link Launch does not collect, store, sell, or transmit your browsing data to the developer or to analytics services.

1. Information handled by the extension

When you actively use a drag gesture, the extension temporarily reads only the item involved in that gesture: a destination URL, image URL, or selected text. This information is processed locally in your browser solely to perform the requested navigation.

2. Network requests

Link Launch does not send information to a developer-operated server. Opening a link or image causes Chrome to navigate to that destination. Dragging ordinary selected text opens a Google search containing that text; Google processes that request under its own terms and privacy policy. The extension does not receive the search response.

3. Storage and retention

The extension does not maintain a browsing history, user profile, analytics identifier, account, or cloud database. Gesture details exist only briefly in memory while the requested tab is opened and are not retained afterward.

4. Sharing and sale of data

The developer does not sell, rent, share, or use browsing activity, selected text, or website content for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or any unrelated purpose.

5. Website access

The extension runs on regular HTTP and HTTPS pages so it can detect user-initiated link, thumbnail, image, and text drag gestures. It does not read page content in the background and does not run on Chrome internal pages.

6. Changes and contact

Material changes to this policy or to data practices will be disclosed before the relevant extension update. Questions can be sent through the support channel shown on the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
